This is a conference about which I have heard a lot of great things! It brings together top researchers and practitioners from academia and industry who are interested in both the technical and social aspects of collaboration. Given that it focuses on how technology intersects with social practices, I thought some of the members of the lab who introduced themselves last Tuesday might be interested in it (and it’s in Baltimore this year). If you are interested, you can learn more at http://cscw.acm.org/ Additionally, CSCW offers adoctoral colloquium that could be of benefit to doctoral students from the lab. Be quick, however, if you intends to submit something (paper, poster, panel, abstracts…) as the deadlines for submission are a couple of weeks away.
